Introduction
#introductionWelcome to TixDorm. We provide tools for event ticketing and distribution — helping organizers publish events and sell tickets, and helping attendees discover events and purchase tickets.
These Terms explain how the platform works and what we each agree to when you use it.
Acceptance of these Terms
#acceptanceBy accessing or using TixDorm, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using TixDorm on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Use of the platform
#use-of-platform- Organizers can create and manage events, set ticket prices, and communicate important updates to attendees.
- Vendors & services where offered may list services for organizers to discover. Listings and bookings are between those parties; you are responsible for your own due diligence.
Organizers are responsible for their events, including event content, venue rules, safety, and delivering the experience described on the event page.
When you pay another user, book a vendor, or attend an event, you agree to exercise reasonable care and independent verification (identity, payment details, cancellation policies, and safety). Tixdorm is not a party to those agreements and does not guarantee outcomes between users except as stated in these Terms.
Organizer responsibilities
#organizer-responsibilitiesWhen you host events on TixDorm, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event information (title, time, location, pricing, and policies).
- Honor tickets sold (including entry obligations and valid access for attendees).
- Communicate meaningful changes promptly (e.g. date/time changes, venue changes, major lineup changes).
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations (consumer protection, advertising, etc.).
Payments & fees
#payments-and-feesWe aim to keep fees transparent. Any platform fees (and any third‑party payment fees, if applicable) are shown clearly before purchase or payout.
- No hidden charges — what you see at checkout is what you pay.
- Payment processing may be handled by trusted providers; their terms may also apply.
Prohibited activities
#prohibited-activities- Creating fraudulent or misleading events.
- Attempting to scam, impersonate, or exploit users.
- Abusing, disrupting, or attempting to bypass platform security.
- Uploading malicious code or unauthorized content.
Account & access
#accountsAccounts are created and accessed primarily via email (including email verification). You’re responsible for safeguarding your account and any device or inbox used to access it.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
Termination
#terminationWe may suspend or remove accounts or events if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or risk to users or the platform. Where appropriate, we’ll provide notice and a path to appeal.
Limitation of liability
#liabilityTo the extent allowed by law, Tixdorm and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform or from dealings between users (including ticket purchases, vendor bookings, ambassador or referral arrangements, or attendance at events).
The platform may display verification or approval labels for certain accounts. Those labels reflect administrative checks at a point in time and are not a substitute for your own due diligence, legal advice, or insurance. You remain solely responsible for decisions to transact with or meet other users.
Organizers are responsible for delivering their events and meeting obligations to attendees. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (for example, certain statutory consumer rights where applicable).
Changes to these Terms
#changesWe may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
